Founding Partner

John Warren, CLU, ChFS

John is a seasoned Chief Revenue and Strategy leader specializing in driving profitability and competitive advantage. With a track record of launching industry-changing products across various sectors including Insurtech, Cyber, Life, Annuities, Accident, Health, and Voluntary Employee Benefits, he excels in enhancing client engagement and reducing acquisition costs through strategic marketing programs. With expertise in identifying unique value propositions, John devises and implements multi-channel GTM strategies to optimize market penetration and business growth. His extensive executive experience includes roles at AIG, Kanawha, Symetra Financial, and Prudential Financial. Over the past 7 years, he has provided consulting services in the Insurtech space for companies like Revolution Insurance Technologies, Munich Re, Surance, Covu, and Invive. John resides in Shelby Township, MI, with his wife of 37 years and their 4 Siberian Huskies.

Wayne Gutridge

Wayne excels in new business development and alternative distribution strategies, leveraging his extensive experience in integrating products across various business units. With leadership roles at American International Group/Starr, Zurich North America, and Transamerica, he specializes in formulating core strategies for marketing, sales, product development, and operational support in corporate markets. Wayne's accomplishments include developing A&H programs for notable organizations like Wells Fargo, AMA, Citigroup, and the U.S. Olympic Committee. As a former AIG Executive Vice President, he's recognized as a Global A&H Business Knowledge Expert, having secured substantial funding and launched profitable A&H profit centers at AIG and Zurich NA. Wayne has also spearheaded workplace and affinity strategies globally and led Transamerica's Financial Wellness Strategy. He resides in Maryland with his wife of 32 years and their three daughters.

Managing Partner

Isaac Allen

Isaac Allen is a Managing Partner at Matterhorn Insurance Group, where he leads innovation and technology-driven insurance solutions. As the Founder of Spark Agency, a consultancy specializing in digital transformation, Isaac brings advanced tech enhancements to Matterhorn, optimizing operations and client engagement.

 

Previously, Isaac served as Chief Innovation Officer at Intact Insurance, leading strategic technology initiatives in specialty insurance. He also founded The Northman Company, a digital MGA specializing in adventure and sports insurance, and Canada Captives, where he built digital platforms for captive cell management.

 

Isaac is a father of three, a basketball and hockey coach, and enjoys trail running with his dog, Archie.

Stephen Mueller

Stephen boasts a diverse career in the insurance industry, spanning Life, Accident & Health, and Property & Casualty segments. With top-level positions at Unum, Zurich, and Intact Insurance (formerly OneBeacon), he has excelled in sales, including his role as the Global Head of Sales for Zurich in Switzerland, marketing, and underwriting within the employee benefits, transportation, and affinity sectors. Stephen's expertise lies in building high-growth businesses with impressive returns, including two successful Accident & Health insurance ventures. As a published author, he has contributed extensively to industry literature on topics ranging from travel assistance and identity management services to emerging benefit and risk management trends. Outside of work, Stephen is the Founder and
Chairman Emeritus of Ridge Youth Sports, a non-profit organization, and he actively serves on the Board of Directors for the Boomer Esiason Foundation to raise awareness and funds for the fight against Cystic Fibrosis. Married for 35+ years, he has three children and one grandchild.
